Thanksgiving and photo shoot!

Thanksgiving was great at home with most of our family. The cousins had a great time, and the food was as always yummy. I especially loved Kim's apple pie! It's always nice to go to Colorado too. It has been a little while, so it was a fun trip! Plus we got a new Target that I had to check out! I never thought I would see the day! A Target in my hometown! Awesome! Anyway, Grandma had bought all the cousins cute Christmas outfits and we had a darling photo shoot! These are just some, Porter was not having it when we tried to get a brothers pic with Roni, but here are a couple of cute ones right off my camera, when we get the cd of the good ones I'll put up some more.

I've been tagged!

1So thank you so much Shelly for keeping me updating my blog!! Here we go...

2.Seven random things about me:

1. I absolutely love Sunny D infused with peach. It is one of my new favorite drinks!

2. I spoil my kids more than I should, I almost always cave and get Porter a little toy every single time we go to the store. I've really got to learn to be strong before he gets much older, or this will be a real problem.

3. I love to watch little kids color, I think it is so cute to watch them create pictures.

4. I like to watch those cold case, forensic files, american justice type shows on A&E, but then I always regret it at night when I get nightmares! I know I shouldn't watch them, but if I flip through the channels and catch one, I always get stuck!

5. I love cute welcome mats, I always notice the welcome mats at people's homes.

6. I love to sleep, it is the one thing that really has gotten me with both of my new babies. I can handle everything else no problem, but I HATE being so tired. My hubby is so sweet to help me with shifts, I feel a little bad though because not a lot of husbands have to do alternating shifts. He is an angel though, I wouldn't make it through without him!

7. I love all my friends, I have so many amazing friends all over the country, and sometimes I get really sad that I don't get to see them all very often! Seriously, I have some really awesome friends, and I miss them a lot.

Halloween

This year for Halloween my boys were the Three Musketeers! They were sooo cute! I didn't get the costumes done as early as I wanted to, but they did turn out great. I just had to work on them right up until we left to go Trick or Treating. Porter especially had such a great time! Daddy and Porter were darling holding hands walking up the street in matching costumes! I didn't get as many great pics on our camera, but as soon as I get some more from my friend Steph I'll post those as well! Ronan just enjoyed sleeping in his costume, but he looked great too! All for one and one for all!

Ronan

Here is a little more dedicated post to our new little one! I hope you enjoy the pics.Porter is learning to like him a little better now, but at first he was not the hugest fan. He pretty much ignored him for the first week, and even still now he DOES NOT like it when Ronan cries. We keep trying to tell him that is how Ronan talks. He doesn't quite get it yet, but sooner or later he will learn to deal with it I guess. My C-Section this time was AWESOME! I have to say that I am a fan of the "no labor" thing! I have healed really quickly and now I just need some sleep to be back to normal! He is so cute though, so it is worth it!

I'm back!

Hello again! I know that it has been several months since my last post, but I'm going to try to be much better. My page has a cute new look, (thank you Tori) and hopefully I will be more motivated now. We've had a very busy several months and I'm making it a goal to get my life back on track. We had an awesome summer, Porter had an awesome cowboy birthday party, then Grant's wedding in California. We had a great family trip to Sea World, the San Diego Zoo, and the Wild Animal Park. Porter loves animals, so it was awesome to watch him. So back then our most recent event was the birth of our new wonderful little boy!! Ronan was born Oct 1 and we have LOVED having him in our family. Now if we can just get him to sleep a little bit more at night time we will be doing awesome! So that is a quick update, and hopefully everything else will be more up to date!!

Finally, Hello!

Well, my sister has been getting on me for quite a while to do this whole blog thing, it's not that I haven't wanted to, I just can never seem to get around to it! Anyway, I hope to do a somewhat decent job, because all of my friends seem to keep getting more and more spread out. I find that it is a great way to keep up with each other's lives!

So here is a quick update, we are expecting a baby boy in October for all of you who haven't heard yet. We are very excited, and hopefully Porter will be a great big brother! I've been very busy lately with the Young Women at church, doing lots of fun projects, and as always playing with my sweetheart and baby! We got back recently from a very long but wonderful trip to see lots of family and friends, and are just settling in for the rest of the summer. I'm looking forward to Porter's birthday coming up soon and Grant's wedding by the end of the summer. It should be a great next few months. I'll leave you with a few pics of recent times, hope you enjoy them. They are of us in France and Spain, and Porter in Daddy's snowboard boots. Then my favorite is Porter's mohawk and mullet-not many people can have both at the same time! Jon, that pic is for you:)
