Diplomat
Well as many of you may be aware Noah has been working towards becoming a Foreign Service Officer for almost a year now. He has passed all the tests and completed all the paperwork and as of Friday he received his official offer to attend Junior Officer training. We will be moving to Washington D.C. in early January and we will be spending anywhere from 3 to 12 months there while he learns the in and outs of what his job will be. We are super excited and can't wait for all of the wonderful experiences that will come from being an FSO. I will post more details in the days to come and keep you all up to date on our adventures. I am so proud of my future "Diplomat".

Crazy, I didn't know that's what you guys were doing. What happened to KS? Well, congrats!! You'll love living out there!
Kendra, I am so excited for you!!!
I am thrilled for you guys. I hope you get to stay at least through the spring, spring in DC is the best. I of course have a wealth of great ideas for housing and what not, especially in my ward, which you would love. And some of them do short term leases!!! Congratulations a million times over. Where are you headed after DC?
Thanks for the comment on my blog, and yes, if you're staying at the Oakwood in Falls Church, you'll be in our ward. I'm the ward's Foreign Service coordinator, in fact. Right now there are 12 families in the ward living at Oakwood, plus some other Foreign Service people elsewhere. So you're not alone! Feel free to e-mail me with questions about whatever. newswarrior@yahoo.com

We'd love to see you guys! We should be here! We'll just be around the kansas/nebraska area throughout the holidays, so as soon as you know, let us know. I hope it works out for you guys to come through!
Pretty stoked for you all. Need to bug you with lots of questions soon.
Congrats, and I look forward to meeting you guys in January at A-100.
