Christmas time!

We had a fantastic Christmas, just stayed home with our little family and ate our favorite ham puff pastry for Christmas Eve! But Christmas morning was a whole other fun story! Porter finally "got it" this year, and it was so fun to watch! He didn't even know what to do with himself! He got so many wonderful things, it took us forever to convince him to open a new present. He got a tube of little animals in his stocking, and that was it! The first set back, he played with those for 20 minutes before we could even touch anything else! It was so fun though. It was also Roni's first Christmas, and he just wanted to sleep! After that we went to my Grandpa's house and had a great afternoon and evening with some extended family, finishing it all up with our family tradition of "Christmas Drink"! A delicious green ice cream shake/drink!! YUMMO! I am quite happy that it is all over though. We got all of the Christmas decorations put away on New Year's Day, and gutted our closets! There's nothing like a good deep cleaning to start out a new year! I'm feeling really good and productive this holiday break! I love Christmas, but it is always nice to get a new fresh start on a bunch of new projects!

Hey, So good to see your blog :) It's so great to reconnect on how you are all doing down there in the Provo area. We're still living in Bountiful, trying to see what is next for us, grad school or buying a home.... I guess only time will tell, besides what the Lord's will is for us. Hopefully before we move (we don't know where we'll go yet), we can get in touch with you in person again. I got the book exchange list from Karin, and I'm supposed to send you one for your sweet, cute littlest guy- but I have to find the list either in my car, or at home underneath stuff to be put away better still from the holidays. We got pretty sick in our house too, and so we haven't have the time to get things taken care of like usual.

What is your address so I can send this book to you? Love you! JO
