Well, I've officially reached a big new milestone! Last night was our first ever trip to the ER in the middle of the night! Ronan was feeling a little warm around midnight, but I thought he was just hot from sleeping, but then at 3:15 when he woke up to eat again he was even hotter. So taking his temperature we found that it was 102 with the accurate method, and 100.4 with the underarm!So anyway, I called the doctor, and they said that I needed to take him in and not wait until morning with a baby this age! So off we went! He was pretty congested and runny nose and stuff so I was worried, but they said no RSV, which was a huge relief, but they still always like to see them when the baby is so small! It turns out that he as two whoppers for ear infections! Poor little guy! So that accounts for the fever. We got him on some medicine asap and tylenol for the fever. We got all settled back down and back in bed at about 7:00am! What a night. Hopefully this will be all the poor little guy has to go through for a while. He has had one thing after another! Anyway, I'm just glad to be done with this milestone!

Sorry to hear of your little adventure. I'm glad to hear it was nothing more than an ear infection. Sounds like you all had a great Christmas.
