So I've been working really hard lately- to make a "real" quilt! I saw this fabric line, and another quilt done out of it, and thought it was the cutest thing EVER! Of course the kit was all gone-so I picked up some fabric anyway and set out on my own! I've made lots of "tv watching quilts" that were just tied and really easy, but I really wanted to do the whole beautiful handmade quilt kind of look. I'm going to put it in Ronan's room, poor Porter doesn't have one from Mom, but I know Grandma is all over that for him, so I'll just go with that. Anyway, I was so proud of myself -I designed the whole thing, had it quilted and then I did a real binding! In the future I think my bindings will be better now that I've done one-but all in all I love it and think it turned out great! So here are some pics!

SO cute:)
That is adorable! I have always wanted to do one, but am yet to find the time or the energy. You did an awesome job!!
Awesome quilt Kendra! Maybe you can give me sewers 101 while I'm out in Utah. That is definitely one skill I lack, but that would come in handy as a mom.
Your quilt is beautiful! So glad I found your blog. WE miss you over here in the 4th ward. How are you doing in Lindon?

GORGEOUS!!! Great job and how fun!
It looks great!! You said you had it quilted, where and how did you do that? Binding? how did you do that? I want to make quilts for the girls that they can keep forever, until they are worn and tatter anyway.
Super impressed! Luckily I married into a quilt making family so my mother-in-law takes care of the crafty quilts!
Kendra it is so great!! I am amazed at all you do!
