Chocolate Water

So just a quick one to remind me both how cute Porter can be, but also how much he is picking up on!! It is still amazing to me all of the little phrases that he comes up with. He talks like a little adult! So anyway, tonight with dinner he got to have some chocolate milk made with Nesquick. He loves to put the spoon of chocolate in himself. He had already had enough milk today, so when he asked for more we told him that he couldn't have anymore chocolate milk. He knows that he usually can get in a little bit of water before bed once we've hit the "no more milk" for the day so he started in on it. He suggested that he could just have some chocolate water instead. We laughed and went back and forth with him for several hours that he could have some water, but putting chocolate in it probably wouldn't be a great idea. We told him that he probably wouldn't like it, and it would taste funny. But as our ever persistent child threw out "come on Mom, it's WORTH A TRY at least!!" How optimistic:) I guess I've said that one one to many occasion to him for things he didn't want to do! But hey, at least now he seems to know that lots of things are at least "worth a try!" He took a swig, grinned and told me it was GOOD! ( he has not however, taken any more drinks:) He said he's done. I love my little guy, such sweet simple things make his world go round.
