France part one

Hello to all. We are back from our trip, it was really great but also long. Well, mostly the plane rides were long, but that is always the case with two little ones! They are really both pretty good travelers in comparison though so I can not complain. We had a great time, and got to see tons of family which we all loved. It is pretty much an outdoor play paradise at Noah's grandparents, so Porter was in heaven. He told us that he "never wanted to go home, and we should stay here forever". We thought that was cute, and it definitely melted the grandparent's hearts. We had a great time with all of our usual "must do/haves" while we were there, great food and great shopping, but also got to do some new and different things as well. We made big fires in the fireplace this time and grilled several time, and we roasted "chamallows" and made his cousins and aunts/uncles their first s'mores! (or the closest we could get anyway:) The new big touristy thing that we did this time, and never before, just because we didn't know about it...(sorry meg and shelly) but anyway, turns out that Coco Chanel, was raised and learned to sew from the nuns in an orphanage/abby right by Noah's grandparents house! So really for anyone who just thinks that's cool, like I did, that is where we got to go. These are the pics from that Abby in a village called Aubazine. So anyway, it is where Chanel started her career of sorts! The rest are just fun pics from the trip. I also have tons of fun Easter pics too, but I'll post those in a separate one.

Your boys are so sweet. I'm glad you were able to go spend time with that side of the family! Interesting fact about Coco Chanel, thanks for sharing!

Fun, fun times! I am so glad we were able to go with you when we did. We would love to take a repeat trip, we may leave our kids though. Meme and Pepe look great -what happened to Meme's neck? We need to go back to play some more petonk. O.K., I'll stop dreaming for now. France is definitely at the top of my list of places to go again - much because of the great time we had with you.
