Our Home-Preliminaries

I know, I know...you are all dying to see a few pictures of our house! I've been hit with many requests for pictures; and though we are currently still just living with our luggage (hopefully our air shipment will arrive this week) I thought I would give you a few basics. I do plan on doing a much more thorough post after everything has arrived and has been put away, but let's be honest that could take a while! Until then, maybe this will tide you all over. Once again, just remember this is all just the basic furniture they gave us and what we brought with us. Things will look much different once we are completely settled! Also, this is just in the downstairs, I didn't take any pics of the upstairs yet. We are definitely so spoiled here! We are totally loving it!! After we are all set up it will look and feel much more like "our house", and we'll do another post then.

now we just purchased this beauty. we had needed a new toaster before we ever moved and we had planned on buying one when we got here, then it would be one less thing to plug into the transformer! Who ever could guess they would have a LAVENDER one? This picture doesn't even do it justice!

this is the eat in section of our kitchen. Pardon the boxes from our welcome kit in the corner. We are hoping to get a new sweet family style table made for this room. We plan on doing most of our eating in here after that.

like our giant dining room table? all you FSO's will get one just like it. seats at least 10 I believe! The drapes are not my favorite though, we will be switching these out to something a little more solid I think.

Eventually at the far end we will have a "family room" type set up that is a little more casual for the kids to be in most of the time. This room is huge, and has the set up for 3 different areas. The balcony off to the right is fabulous as well. We LOVE to sit out there at night, it is amazing weather right now here. The boys love it too. They request to eat outside every meal now!
