In our Church when a baby is born they are given a Priesthood Blessing (usually by the father, depending on the circumstances). We took advantage while we were home in the States, and were able to do it before we came back to Turkey.
It was a wonderful day with very fitting timing as well; being that we did it on Father's Day Sunday. What a terrific father/son moment to celebrate with!
It was a wonderful day, that we also got to spend with my Dad and Grandfather! Father's Day triple threat!
But for the most part, it was really all about this little guy
it was his special day and he looked smashing in his little argyle sweater outfit!
I know, I know...I just couldn't resist it!
I have gobs of other pictures from the day, but I will spare you all and just keep them for the scrapbook. I will share my favorite one though-
I just love how it captured the moment for me. My sweet baby, snuggled up to his big strong daddy on his blessing day. LOVE it!
